Rozhan Masroor is an English-Kurdish writer, poet, translator, editor, and journalist. Her works include poetry, and articles, in both Kurdish and English languages.
Rozhan Masroor was born in Sulaymaniyah in the east of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. She grew up in the Sulaymaniyah, where she completed her elementary studies in Kurdish and French.
She later moved to the UK and continued her education at Cambridge University.
On 22 September 2014, Brady was elevated to the House of Lords as a Conservative life peer, taking the title Baroness Brady. Prior to this appointment, Stephen performed a number of Director roles in London, with a focus on the Middle East.
She learned Arabic in Cairo from 2016 to 2017. After transfer to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (now Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office), she completed diplomatic service in Cairo, Kuwait, and London.
